In the 10 years 6TY has existed, Jess has been a part of the 6TY Family for 8 years, beginning her journey as one of our therapists, and now taking on the role as one of our salon managers. Jess graduated college with an HND and has been in the beauty industry for 13 years.
Jess offers a range of treatments in the salon but says she particularly enjoys providing brow and lash treatments, having developed her skills in the industry as the years have gone by. She is especially a fan of the HD brow sculpt treatment and enjoys transforming our clients brows. She has recently returned from maternity leave after having her little boy. Jess says it’s lovely to be back with a great team of therapists and seeing our clients again.
I started training at Dumfries college when I was 15 where I gained my HNC in beauty therapy I then spent the next 7 years of my career focusing on skin treatments and massage therapies. Iv a huge passion for all things skin and I’m one of only a few people in Dumfries that is certified as a Dermalogica Expert I also specialise in Elemis Biotec skin rejuvenation treatments. Iv over 12 years experience within the beauty industry and love all things beauty in summer of 2021 I became 6TY’s salon manager.
I’ve been in the beauty industry since I began work. I studied Beauty Therapy at college after leaving school then relocated to Stirling to undertake an advanced level nail course. This is where my passion and the majority of my bookings lie! I also enjoy doing spray tans and HD Brows. I love the satisfaction from seeing my clients eyebrow journeys. One of the biggest perks of the job for me is getting to form such great relationships and friendships with my clients as I see them on such a regular basis.
I just graduated from my HNC at college and have been working at 6TY throughout my studies. My interest in the beauty industry was first piqued when i started doing treatments at home for my family members and then I decided to pursue a career in the industry. I am fully Elemis facial trained and love helping clients with their skin as well as our signature massages such as a hot stone. I love how my day never gets boring as i get to complete such a diverse range of treatments throughout the day.
Jess is currently studying at Dumfries and Galloway College undertaking her NC in Beauty Therapy and is in her second year.
Jess says she has always enjoyed exploring beauty and particularly enjoys doing brow and lash treatments, makeup applications and nails. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and joining the Team at 6TY.
